We had a bit of rough start when we brought our Isla home. I was recovering from a c-section delivery and had some nasty complications on top of that. With that being said, we really didn’t venture out much during her first four weeks.
But, since the weather was so nice this past weekend, we decided to seek adventure! Ok, maybe it wasn’t quite an adventure-but hey, now that I’m a mom of three, a cup of FRESH coffee and interacting with other adults is adventure enough for me.
Even a mini-adventure is easier said than done these days, since now I am severely outnumbered. Three kids, two hands, one mom=challenge! So before I left the house I made sure to suit up with my Solly Baby Wrap, which allows me to have my newborn close and my hands free.
The Solly Baby Wrap in Fern is the prettiest baby wrap I have ever laid my eyes on! The Lenzing modal fabric is buttery soft and breathable-perfect for baby wearing in the summer months. The wrap holds Isla in such a natural, and comfortable way. When I wear her, I feel like we are one, like I am pregnant with her all over again. It is an amazing feeling.
Beautiful and functional, I paired mine with a nursing-friendly, cotton shirt dress, and a pair of lace up sandals for a super easy look that’s practical for mom life. When baby-wearing and juggling other children, I would also recommend a backpack versus a tote style diaper bag for even more convenience. The one I am wearing is by Fawn Design!
